Last week, my roommate from college(BYU-I) came to visit me. Chelsea came all the way from Nebraska. It was so sweet of her to come from so far and spend the week with us. We had a great time, we played games, made cookies, watched a movie, showed her around Memphis, watched my niece, talked, and enjoyed being back together. We were roommates for 4 semesters and if you could't tell, she was awesome to room with! I love you Chelsea!

Our friends, the Hamblin's, were also living at Target House. We've spent many hours with them doing various activies, but manily just talking. They are from Nevada, and are members of our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was great to meet a family that we had something in common with. After 5 months of being here, they left for home on Tuesday. It was sad to see them go, but home means things are going well for Devree!

As I think about going home, I have mixed feelings. We've met so many wonderful familes at the Target House. Many still have months left here. Some we know well, others not as well. We see them everyday at the various activies, dinners, or just in passing. But, when I go home, we'll lose contact with many of the families. It will be sad to leave everyone behind, still going on with their treatment. It is our hope for them to also return home soon, healthy and happy.
